It is hard to believe that the time has finally come....we are alone again after 21 years. All three of our children are safely tucked away at school in Idaho.
It has been an interesting adjustment. Going to the grocery store, I can walk out with a weeks worth of groceries for under a hundred dollars. In fact, we went to Costco on Saturday and came out with four loaves of bread and a box of fruit snacks (which went to a neighbors house for grandkid snacks, due to grandpa's death.) Couldn't think of anything else we needed in large quantities.
Dinner consists of "Does a sandwich sound good to you?" and Family Home Evening is discussing yesterday's sunday school lesson that I missed because I teach primary.
We miss the kids, but we are also enjoying the time to renew our friendship again. I think we are doing well, with the exception of how long it takes to do the work around the house. We just can't get as much done in a day as we use too.
